A show like this simply can't be made today, same reason Chapelle Show was pulled off the air. What made these shows so good is that they were able to make fun of other races but just as the laughs started rolling, it turned around and pointed the finger right back at blacks and criticized and satirized issues and problems within their own community. And it was done in a humourous way, because humour is disarming and in doing so, can make one open to seeing things from others point of view. After Obama got into office is when such things went to the wayside. A show like this airing during or even after the BLM riots and commenting or criticizing it would have either been the most polarizing piece of media allowed or the most brilliant piece of art that could have come about at such tense times. Nope. Blacks are now protected and coddled. You don't even see black villains in media anymore, never mind a show consciously aware and open to remarking on issues within their own demographic.
