It wasn't even shot in a noir style. The black and white is far too bright, some scenes washed out and too detailed. They actually put more effort into the color and tried their best to replicate technicolor.With that said the writing is about on par with the netflix teamup show with daredevil, the mudshark, the dad from goodtimes, and that mexican greek chic.But despite the b tier writing Cage and Gelason carry it hard so you don't really notice too much of the shitty writting in spots.DEI is in their but it's minimal. You'll notice it, laugh at the absurdity then forget about it.
