>IMAX aspect ratio is 1.43:1
How is this any different from 4:3? Why are they marketing this as something special?
>>
Just zoom out using regular 35mm and voila! you have it, a wide frame without any 70mm Le "you're missing out stuff on a screen" marketing gimmick

4:3 is 1.33 tho
>>
IMAX >>220982998
Dolby Atmos (wow, it's just the 5.1 mix but with useless foley and even more reverb added)
Dolby Vision (if HDR10 wasn't such a dumb fucking standard then dynamic metadata would be in the standard anyway)
All fucking annoying marketing gimmicks.

I never understood why cameras aren't 1:1 and then you can crop it in editing however the fuck you want. Why limit yourself to a preset when 1:1 gives you maximum freedom?
