i recently gave up on death stranding. i liked the world. i liked the story. i liked the graffix. i liked the voice acting. writing was a bit stunted but not the worst i've seen from japan. i was interested in seeing where it would go. i even liked the lame-ass courier gameplay loop. but that interface. those fucking awful unwieldly and cumbersome menus. those insufferable mini-cutscenes for the most minor actions. i just couldn't stand it anymore. i've never ever given up on a game i otherwise liked because of menus before. it still feels unreal that i did it. is this what being filtered feels like?
