My wife and her boyfriend were telling me they’re heading out to catch this tonight, but a trans friend of mine who’s usually pretty plugged into this stuff pulled me aside and said the guy who wrote it comes across as really bitter and has some pretty ugly attitudes toward women. I’m honestly spiraling a little I keep picturing my wife sitting there getting blindsided and having a rough time with it. And screaming to block everything out I’m even debating whether I should just go down to the theater real quick and see if I can catch them before it starts, just to check in.
Can anyone who’s actually seen it tell me it’s not like that at all? I’d really appreciate it.
