I have difficulty watching films. I get too immersed, if a character says or does something embarrassing I feel like I am doing it, or it reminds me of something similar I did. It gives me anxiety and I have to mumble gibberish to myself to throw off the feeling. I have the same issue watching Oscar acceptance speeches

i used to be like you, it took years but i've mastered not thinking about anything or how dumb anything is or sounds or if it's embarrassing for the person or me, and i keep myself sounding and thinking as dumb as possible on purpose to make sure i never give a shit again
