Watching Mad Men for the first time and midway through season 4
As much as Don was objectively an awful husband and Henry is a much better husband, I admit it still feels weird seeing Henry in their house, and even Betty seems to acknowledge Don as the "real man" in the family by going to him whenver there's family drama.
Betty, despite being a bitch to her kids, is also the most tolerable and interesting female character in the show. I'd watch a hundred Betty scenes before a single Peggy one.
But either way, for me the show just hasn't felt the same since the end of season 3, the divorce of Don and Betty feels like such a "final" and climatic moment, like the show should have ended there. I really miss their story, and the comfy 1950s suburban aesthetic of it.
