Sloppy kino. Loved the instrumentals and the cover of where is my mind? Cool song to still listen to in mr. Robot and uncharted game trailer.

It's a fun and dumb b-movie but with a big budget, it's kino.

>>220994471Guilty pleasure. Wan clearly tried to create new iconic villain with his Backwards Man, which didn't pan out,but I appreciate the effort put into it. I liked the atmosphere and production.If most horror movies were like Malignant, I would be more than okay with it.One thing though, Malignant made me think about contemporary horror symbols, because Wan clearly set it in our time, but he used archaic tech, old TVs, old hospital wheelchairs and similar stuff for atmosphere, made me think WHAT is current quivalent of TV static, dead phone line etc.

The third act genre shift to borderline action movie was jarring but the whole movie was pretty dumb as a whole.
i have to give it a second watch because the only thing i remember its that i didnt expect the goofy climax
