When The Matrix dropped on home video it caused a mass switchover from VHS to DVD. Plus the Star Wars prequel trilogy and The Lord of the Rings. DVD players were worth their weight in gold so yes it was absolutely worth it to steal them. The real question is why would a truck driver defend his load? They don’t own that shit.
