All the promotional imagery is of Colin Ferrel. All the side characters shown in every piece of marketing are white. This was sold as a classic italian style mob story set in Gotham city.Within the first 15 minutes a nigger side character is introduced. This character becomes the main focus of the show's story by the end. He's not on the poster. He's not a character from a comic book. But some self insert stuttering nig is the main character of the Penguin. Not the Penguin.Bait and switch. EVERY FUCKING TIME.
The bait and switch has more to do with the slightly crazy, Strong Woman™ character who has to overcome her bad, sexist partners in order to become a respected formidable leader. More than half the show is about her dumb, annoying story.
