There was a period around the mid-2000s when he was somewhat over-exposed (and this seems to have occasioned the generational pushback which /tv/ still gives wrongheaded voice to on a regular basis), but happily we've gotten past that point. When Norm left, at least Will was still there. When Will left the show, that's the precise moment that I lost all interest.
