Tintin still holds up considering it was made 15 years ago.
HA HA HAOH WOW
>>221002330Spielberg's fucked

>>221002330I recently watched it and it was fun. Felt like an indie movie
>>221002330This lil shit is destroying people's houses lmao
>>221002472Israel has show us that those aren't "people" per se
>>221002472>people

>>221002330I LIVE FOR THIS SHIT!
>>221002330Hate this kind of on-rails stupid shit. It looks like a video. Not having any cuts makes it more jarring, it makes it look like the entire thing is scripted. Everything just perfectly falls into place and a linear path opens up. When you do a cuts it makes it look less jarring. When you see him just get lucky and land on those blue decoration things it just makes it look like it's a scripted event, literal video game shit. If there was a cut and they showed a different angle of him grabbing it from a different angle, it would look natural, like he actually grabbed onto something to save himself from falling.Cuts would hide how perfectly the house crumbles just to give him the perfect route to drive his bike.
>>221002893>It looks like a videoI have news for you...
>>221002330Slopven Slopberg
>>221002330If you watch a little clip like this then it's cool. But the whole movie is this. There is no plot whatsoever just nonstop mindless action. Spielberg is senile.
>>221002330>holds up>consideringPick one.
>sequel still in the worksI actually loved this movie but now it feels like some tiktok brainrot shit where its like subway surfer and a family guy clip and a clip of someone cutting modeling clay being played together. I wonder how they could make it a little less frenetic without being boring or a waste of talent
>>221002330holy floaty camera
>>221002330I thought the comics were highly regarded because they were sort of realistic?
>>221002509Is someone paying you to post this irrelevant shit? We're TALKING ABOUT TIN TIN.
AI could never reach these heights of HUMAN
>>221002330why does this look like a pre-vis and not the actual finished scene?
>>221002330>gently bumps wall with motorcycle>entire city block collapses like a nuclear holocaust
>>221003956where on earth did you get that impression?
>>221002330this film was uncanny valley day one
>>221003064It's been a long time since I watched it, but I went in as a fan of the comics and thought it was pretty neat. It's like they stuck three of his stories in a blender.
>>221004532>>221003956nta but i know what he means; the comics were cartoonish obviously, but there was an extensive research behind.Everything in those comics is a 1:1 copy of reality, like the mummies were copied from actual museum photos and so on.
>>221002330fucking insufferable the 2010s was the end of cinema already it actually started a few years back already
My dad was excited to see this with me so he took me to see it at the cinemas but I had never heard of tintin ever beforeAnd he killed himself the next year in 2012
>>221004671sorry, anon
>>221004671>And he killed himself the next year in 2012sounds like what a Tintin fan would do desuthis shit is bleak
Cool video game
>>221002330not my tintinhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oz7aCSNMgQ4
>>221002330>Generic action scene. My eyes have glazed over. Film it with real actors and no CGI and I'll give a shit. Doesn't need to be an unbroken shot, not like those have been impressive for two decades anyway. Have all the cuts you like, just actually do it and film it instead of giving me computerslop.
>>221002330I liked it. The 3d era gives us a lot of gimmick shots like this, but the rest of the animation was great. The style managed to ride the line between the very basic cartoon style and making it 3d and realistic without feeling like they just broke the style and tone of the comics.
>>221004875I agree, the OP webm is ass but the movie itself is solid. In fact the scene where the ship is sailing through the desert is absolute kino, they nailed the animation on that.
>>221004903Had a lot of cool transitions actually
>>221002330SAARS
