I'm starting to think that the characters are literally inside a book. The whole show makes way more sense when you think about it in this kind of meta way. The monsters couldn't kill Boyd or Randall because they can't. Their story arcs need to conclude. It also explains how Victor managed to survive despite being a traumatized kid and all alone. Donna and Kenny didn't die because they can't die yet.

Maybe the boy in white is the author which is why he can't tell them anything despite already knowing the whole plot. The man in yellow is probably an intruder from another book.

Shit. Big episode. Hard to pin it down for the timeline.
It starts on the same day as the previous episode (Henry coming back drunk from drinking with Sophia. Tabitha and Ethan talking with Julie for first time since returning and telling her about the puppets and reincarnation.)
What made it really fucky was the colony house meeting though. It was supposed to take place at night but you can see that it was bright outside. And the next scene it cuts to Julie during the day so it seems like one long day. But we know it was supposed to be night because Boyd talks to Donna and she says talks about them staying up all night talking about saving kids.
So with all that said, we're now 28 days since Tabitha and Jade arrived in town.

Maybe the Frombies are the ones who drowned the dolls originally.
