>the majority of breaking bad takes place in ONE year

what the fuck were they thinking with this? the story and development clearly takes place over 3-5 years

is it sunny all year round in ABQ? don't know, why would I

Also that makes his lung cancer weirdly aggressive unless it was meant to have been caused by some hazardous chemical inhalation or something. Non-smokers in places with very high air quality don't get fast-hitting lung cancer.

Similar to Dark Souls, time and space are convoluted.
The series supposedly takes place between 2007-2008, but time overlaps itself and residents of 2011+, these invaders sharing future lore notes about Bin Laden being killed.
Walter at this point is not familiar with what he is referencing, so assumes the man is under the influence of intoxicants.

>what the fuck were they thinking with this?
waaay less thought went into this show than the average /tv/redditor thinks

>It's a two year timeline from start to finish
This seems way, way too short.

That's at least not as bad as the Gene scenes in BCS taking place only a couple of months after BrBa, shifting it from "Jimmy is an old man longing for the days of yore" to "Jimmy is a retard who couldn't lay low for a few months."

>I was talking a few minutes ago to a writer who was asking me about inconsistencies of when the show is set in time. When I was shooting the pilot episode, we had a scene where Walt puts his son’s handicap placard on his car, and it said 2007. The writer said to me: “I thought this show took place in 2007, and it’s only been a year since then, but last week you had someone mention the Osama Bin Laden assassination. How do you reconcile that?” I had to say, “Well, honestly, I don’t.” In a perfect world, this show is somewhat timeless, and people will watch it and think of it as the present.
>I just included a blatant mistake in my Emmy nominated show that made it past editors producers and film crew

And there's never any seasonal changes, or holidays.... School is always in session. No summer vacay for lil Walt Jr.

Bravo, Vince, you fucking hack

>Well, honestly, I don’t.
What a pretentious faggot. Just own your mistake. Playing it off that it never mattered when some other no-name writer can instantly pick up the inconsistency to protect your own ego is just pathetic.

> "Jimmy is an old man longing for the days of yore"
He is though
>"Jimmy is a retard who couldn't lay low for a few months."
Yeah he is, did you watch the show?
