Marvel doesn't do big marketing until close to the movie's release to build mystery and speculation which leads to lots of discussion and a desire for audiences to see it as soon as possible. Drip feeding new stuff and not revealing the main villain or Sadie Sink's character is marketing machine hype.

I can't wait to watch 240 minutes of Spider Man making the same quips over and over again during TOTES AWKWARD scenes and having JeetGI fights with some character we've never seen before or will ever see again until the last 20 minutes when Spider Man learns the lesson that he just needs to punch the villain harder during their JeetGI fights! Such riveting content I'm totally still interested in rewatching the same movie they've been making for the last 27 years!
