Solid flick. Terminator franchise stayed watchable until Genysis.
I never understood the thought process of the Terminator movies. The trilogy was perfectly set up for the final movie being about the future war against Skynet and movie ending with Connor sending Reese back in time. Perfect way to end the trilogy

The worst part of this movie is when they're at this gas station where survivors are camping out and a giant terminator mazinger somehow sneaks up on them despite being twenty feet tall. Other than that it was pretty ok.
It’s disjointed derivative crap that feels unfinished but it’s the only one of the later sequels to not just be actively trying to remake T2, which was itself basically a remake of the first one.Anton Yelchin was solid in it. Shame Bryce Dallas Howard and Michael Ironside didn’t get more to do
