I never watched it, nor did I read the comics. It was immediately obvious how cringe it was and how much it pandered to posers with main character syndrome. I'm 37, so I was well within the demographic for this movie when it came out, but I think the people most affected by it were slightly younger than me because they were more susceptible to gay poser shit.
