Currently watching Fantasia, what do I think of it?

Not Walt's masterpiece as some claim, but it is pretty great.

It's good but kinda uneven. A chunk of it is kinda boring honestly. That shit with a hippo ballet always put me to sleep.

I find it very boring, am I filtered?

It's a "mood piece" that you have to be in the right state of mind to appreciate fully. It's also far more impressive in a theater than it is on a TV. I don't know if you got filtered but maybe you were expecting something different? It also helps to smoke some weed before watching Fantasia.
Anyway, it's not as great as Pinocchio, Bambi, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan or Lady and the Tramp, all superior golden age Disney movies.

The hippo ballet was a fevered nightmare because I didnt know what movie I was watching or why anything was happening. It was years later that I found out what it was. Still cant remember a Betty boop movie with some old times actors or something. They are at a jazz club, it might be Peter lorre.
