Reddit how?

What's Reddit about it?
>>

It's so amazing how Reddit tourists out themselves by not being familiar with the local customs and slangs we have here. At the very least study our culture and become more familiar with it THEN post.
>>
>>221018291
Yes don't watch it
>>
>>221018479
You fuckers will call anything you don't like "reddit". It's completely meaningless.

I'll never understand 4chan's obsession with reddit. As a redditor myself, we hardly ever mention 4chan at all.
>>
>>221018291
Since the redditors in the thread don't want to own up to it, yes it is reddit. The " I fucking love science" crowd would be really into it. They would carry smugness they get from it for days after seeing it. Otherwise pretty good movie.
>>
>>221018291
Sure, but I found it enjoyable as I was not attacked or insulted with propaganda narratives other then NASA.
>>
>>221018863
That reddit hasn't existed in 10 years.

It's a cute movie for kids. It also explores an underexplored trope. Hard to find fault with it.

There are some eyerolling moments such as all the people in power being niggers and women, and all the smart kids at school being mullatos, but once the movie properly starts that stuff just disappears.

What I didn't like it that it contains Ryan Gosling playing Ryan Gosling from Bladerunner but in a different movie. Bladerunner has great cinematography and all that, but I never liked Gosling's acting in that film. He's just doing the exact same thing again but for a wider audience.

You seem to know a lot about reddit, curious...

>all the people in power being niggers and women
We're headed that way
>the smart kids at school being mullatos
It's supposed to take place in the us

obsessive website-based schismogenesis as replacement for both personality and thoughtful critique. Something to behold.
>>221018291
Havent seen the movie but about 2/3rds of the way through the book. It's interesting but you can tell the science is what the writer is really about and the characters are just means of talking about the science, and it shows, but I like what he came up with in that arena so I don't mind. Short answer: thats a dumbass question my guy.

>all the people in power are niggers and women
>setup for the plot is that earth can no longer feed itself and billions will die

I liked it but gosling can’t act

It's a generic wacky sidekick Disney movie disguised as Sci-Fi.
>>
>>221018291
I spent the entire movie repeating the words "this is reddit, this is memes, this is reddit, this is memes..." under my breath.
I fucking hated it. I was writhing around on the floor in front of the chair for the last 30 minutes it was so painful.

yes, the author is capital R reddit
>Weir worked as a programmer for several software companies, including AOL, Palm, MobileIron, and Blizzard, where he worked on the video game Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. Weir was fired from Blizzard in 1995 for poor performance. He later complained that the company's early structure did not provide adequate job training.
>Weir began writing science fiction in his twenties and published work on his website for years. He authored a humor web comic, Casey and Andy, featuring fictionalized "mad scientist" versions of himself and his friends (such as writer Jennifer Brozek) from 2001 to 2008. He also briefly worked on another comic, Cheshire Crossing (bridging Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, and Mary Poppins), from 2006 to 2008. The attention these gained him has been attributed as later helping launch his writing career, following his failure to publish his first novel attempt, Theft of Pride. His first work to gain significant attention was "The Egg", a 2009 short story that has been adapted into a number of YouTube videos and a one-act play, and is the overarching concept of 2017's Everybody, the third album by American rapper Logic.

I liked that it was an honest movie. At times I thought they would do the typical "It's all a dream, the guy imagined it all because of loneliness" thing, but it was nice that everything was real and wholesome.
>>
>>221018839
As someone who has never used reddit, it sure seems like a lot of 4chin is over there regularly since they claim to know so much about it.
>>
>>221018839
Are you sure?

Most subreddits have to have an explicit NO POLITICS rule. Because otherwise they immediately devolve into Trump bashing. And mentioning Trump often leads to mentioning 4chan. They can't help themselves.

Based. 4chan should have that too.

it does
