I disliked Steven Universe greatly and never watched MLP and I liked this.It's definitely overhyped to hell at this point, but still overall very fun.It's one of those things where the people who call it gay only do so because the diehard fanbase is very gay. On it's own it's fine.

My biggest problem with this series has always been the voice acting. There's something so jarring with the mixing and the inflection that just instantly takes me out of the story and think "these are people recording in a studio trying way too hard to sound emotional."
