Normally, I wouldn't question Nolan, but everytime I see this trailer, I wonder the same thing. Tom Holland is the one that sticks out as the worst to me. He really doesn't belong with these others.
Beyond that, just watching the trailer, it feels "off". I can't place why, but I have a feeling it's gonna be one of his weaker entries. It's like the season after a team wins a championship, same team, same coach, but the schedule is tougher and some people are just coasting and some people left because they won last season.

The Instigators sucked and so did The Rip.
His little cameos in movies are amusing but he's far from able to carry a movie anymore.

You're mostly right. I thought The Rip was entertaining enough. Before that, Air was excellent. It makes sense to cast someone in their 50's, if they look young at the start of the movie with some good makeup, etc. It would be even better if it they used someone young looking in their 40's, that look younger without facial hair, then they can dye their facial hair for later in the movie.
