I remember dropping it after 2 episodes the first time watching. Then I came back to it a couple years later and it was kino. I think I was ready to accept the boring/cringe parts and wait for the kino everyone was talking about, and it quickly delivered. Then, upon rewatches, those first 2 episodes are some of the best. So you have to convert into someone who likes this show before you can fully appreciate it.

For me it's this scene. It really shows how D is a complete oblivious outsider. When he naively admits to being approached by Orlando for a covert side deal, all the other dudes look at each other like "can you believe this retard?". D doesn't even realize the other dudes don't see him as one of them and keeps talking.
