it lost its spark, its soul. Maybe it's the case that the show advanced too far ahead of the alternate history angle, but truly this show is nothing without Ed. They couldn't even make a hostile military takeover on Mars or discovering life of Titan interesting, they shoveled in more melodrama and bullshit in season 5 then they ever did before.the torch is now passed to the literally whos. next season opens with Ceres having been colonized and they won't show shit, mark my words.

I didn't hate season 5 but it was definitely a bit sloppy.They sort of wrote themselves into a corner with Ed being too old and none of the 2nd gen characters (Aleida/Kelly/etc) having that leader archetype. Maybe they could have built Dev up to be more of a main character, but he just kinda sits around doing nothing most of the time.
Cop and soldier girl roles were obviously wrote for men
