Bear fell into a nightmare because he was trying to have someone love him without risking anything on his end, and that's the fault that causes the entire movie to occur. It's a perfect reflection of how corrupted love is when it isn't a genuine connection between two people who try their best to see each other for who they really are, and risk being hurt in the process. I also really like Ian, and Sarah.
