This episode did something to me. Why is Patricia so attractive despite the show trying to show what a loser she is?
>>
>>221023370
you have low self esteem?
>>
I can fix her
>>
>>221023385
I don’t want to fix her. I want to indulge her quirks and let her be as weird as she is. I just want to observe and encourage her batshit mannerisms
>>
>>221023416
she'll drive you nuts pretty quickly. Just impregnate her and she'll fix a lot of her dumb habits
>>
>>221023370
Patricia is cute as fuck, she looks like the 40-something I wish that Alison Brie grew into
>>
>>221023370
She's cute and quirky but would get annoying after a week or two

Low standards
>>
If her character wasn't so funny and endearing, anons wouldn't entertain the idea of being with her. She's also white and skinny with long hair, so she clears most requirements.

There's plenty of more attractive females on other shows, but they're girlbosses or poorly written, so nobody cares about them.

>Why is Patricia so attractive

I want someone to make a video game out of this setting.
I already beat Alan Wake.

It is unbelevably hard work being with someone so passive

>"What do you want for dinner tonight?"
>"I don't mind"
>"pasta?"
>"I'm easy"
>*cooks pasta*
>*she sulks for the rest of the night because she wanted pizza*

Having to make all the decisions all the time really gets to you.

It's a show for women like all modern tv shows
>>
>>221027286
Nah if anything Widow's Bay is the opposite relative to the other shows currently airing.
Women consoom mystery box slop or drama slop.
Widow's Bay is neither.
Good set up, payoffs in a timely fashion.
I swear /tv/ has shit taste though, great shows like this never get much discussion.

Well, you've convinced to watch the first episode and I am engaged. Keep these threads going and I'll start contributing when I've caught up. Thanks, op.
At first blush it feels like it's trying to be Stephen King, it's trying to be a comedy, maybe it's trying to be Twin Peaks a tiny bit. I can see it going any direction, maybe depending on how these plot threads pay off I could see it being really rewarding or really boring (see how From lost steam from Nothing Fucking Happening) and even after watching the pilot I don't know what genre I would call it. But it's interesting.

same, but best you gonna get is a minecraft map or roblox recreation
>>

The worst episode.

Keep watching. Some of my favorite parts are in the first 5 or so episodes. By the end of episode 4 you will truly understand.
