I can't remember, did /tv/ like this?
>>
I think i fapped to a screencap of Ellie in her panties one time. Probably taken from this show, does that count?
>>
If you liked the Tina fey show you will like this. Clever.
>>
>>221026742
It's Kino Noir
>>
MY SHANTS!!!
>>
>>221026742
Great jokes per minute, a little more absurdist than 30 Rock and with a much smaller budget, but still has real strong leads

D'fwan forgot his catch phrase

Main female has no tits so I didn't watch it

Something like this

American humor.
>>
>>221026742
It was interesting for a little bit. Did it go on for more then a season I think I just watched a season. Certainly helped I always thought sandpaper blow job with teeth girl was cute.
>>
>>221026742
I actually kind of love it. What’s interesting is how many jokes there are that you’ll miss unless you’re constantly pausing, this show was designed to be watched in the streaming format, something I don’t think many other shows ever considered the way this one does.

As far as I can remember, /tv/ generally liked it and thought it was funny, but most discussion was based around Ellie Kemper being cute. There wasn't exactly much to talk about plot wise.
>>
>>221026742
No. We hated it.
>>
I am racist and homophobic, and somehow I found that ugly black bald dude funny
>>
I remember finding it decent enough.
But there was this really odd and dumb part where she's trying to publish a children's' book about how boys have this monster inside of them that they have to control. The publishers won't work with her and the episode ends with her reading the book for a little boy and a little girl.
And it's all presented as if she's in the right, as if the publishers are wrong for not wanting to publish a book that says that if you're male you're just born slightly evil.
>>
>>221030541
Same.
In a weird way with media, I'm happier to see a black fag or dyke because it's like hey- at least that means they're not having children.
>>
>>221026742
First season was decent, it lost the plot after that though.
>>
>>221026742
it was just funny enough to watch the whole way through but not enough for a rewatch. titus carries the show. the stuck up bitch daughter was hot. idr a lot of discussion when it was airing.
>>
>>221026742
I only remember the second season sucking because they went woke and toned down the gags because that one plastic surgeon killed himself, and the rise of social media and hot takes totally called out Tina for making a show making light of an actual horrific crime where women had been held in a rape dungeon for decades. I think I canceled my Netflix subscription before seasons 3 and 4 though.
>>
>>221026742
I really liked this show.
So of course Netflix cancelled it.
>>
>>221031370
>because that one plastic surgeon killed himself
Qrd on this? What are you talking about?

>>221031481
I'm pretty sure this got a finale or some special or some shit. I remember the last episode being definitive
>>
Her character in this show was really dumb and ignorant, but it \made sense because she was living in a bunker. In the Office Erin was just dumb and ignorant for no reason.

Season 1 featured a character so fucking KINO that the real life person it was based on killed himself because he knew he could never live up to it.
>>
>>221031542
The last episode was some experimental choose your own adventure type shit that you played using your remote control.
It was extremely gimmicky.
>>
>>221031628
I don't remember this at all. Was the last regular episode of the final season not a finale?
>>
Pinot noir is the only bit I remember

all of them

>Wholesome quirk chungus polygamist rape bunker
>protagonist is an 8th grade girl in the body of a 35 year old
I felt the premise was mired by the lighthearted and inoffensive script. I don’t think I finished it because I don’t remember this guy (but he looks incredibly annoying)
>>
>>221031642
Might have been, but it still fucking sucks that they wrapped it up early.
This was the last thing they made.

>>
>>221031642
It served okay as a finale but the last few episodes of the show felt rushed as if they'd thought they were going to get another season, the choose your own adventure movie wrapped up some more loose ends. I should play it again, I barely got any Heidi Gardner when I played it

>>
>>221031835
>>221032323
Weird, creators say they ended it on their own terms and weren't canceled, is this just them coping & saving face?
>>
30 rock was good but it wasn't so good that you could make a watered down spin off and it would still be good
>>
>>221033514
Kind of.
I think Netflix doesn't ever want to negotiate higher fees for popular shows so just tells the creators to wrap them up ASAP.
While the show was technically wrapped up, it felt really rushed and the show could have gone on for much longer than it did.
>>
>>221034358
Its not a spinoff, its an entirely new story and characters.
>>
>>221031593
People are ditzy sometimes naturally.
>>
>>221026742
unlikely, but it is very funny just like all Tina Fey show
>>
>>221026742

>Your father was elected chair of Tribal Council. You really should come back to this year's Sun Dance.
>Sundance? The film festival? I hear Kevin Smith has really outdone himself this time.
>He's a hack. And we're talking about the Lakota Sun Dance.
I loved the native American parents
