Is it common to sympaphize more with villains instead of heroes as you get older? I used to always support the "good guys" but lately whenever I watch a movie or show I find myself gravitating more and more towards the bad guys. Why is that? Has it ever been explained and/or discussed?
>>221027847I just think it’s more interesting. When you start a new piece of media there’s basically zero probability the villain will win. You can only enjoy the same variation on a story a certain amount of times before growing bored
>>221027847No, there was no discussion about this phenomenon in the history of the Internet. The only thing we discussed for these years is how I copulate with your whore mother.
>>221027847the issue is that sometimes a lot more effort is put into writing why the villain did what they did, and the writing for "why not" is left as a hollow whiny platitude like "because it's against the rules"
>>221027847Sympathizing with sociopaths is mentally ill, yes. But a lot of villains can be likeable even if you can't sympathize with them. At the end of the day, the story only moves because the antagonist spins the wheel, their job is critical for any narrative.
>>221027847I'm a fat manlet loser and I always thought Adachi was a faggot crybaby.
>Is it common to sympaphize more with villains instead of heroes as you get older?Yes. As men get older they realize how stupid and infantile almost all women are. They're driven by seeking validation from other people above all else. You can be a great partner and make lots of money but if you don't post on social media enough to validate her social media persona she'll still probably cheat on you. I was dating this Dutch slut for a while who I thought was loyal then i found out she was cheating so i had to beat the shit out of her. That's just how it is these days unfortunately but as long as you make them pay they learn their lesson
>>221027968I sympathize with Gas Station Attendant, actually.
>>221027968BasedHe only gets points in my book for his fun pistol whip attacks in the fighting game.
There's nothing better than the feeling of hitting a woman who deserves it after she acts smug towards you. Punching women full force closer fist in the face after they say something disrespectful is the funniest thing and they deserve it
>>221028073>stepsister has a black eye that everyone knows is from mouthing off to her violent boyfriend>she's mouthing off to me and causing problems, countering her mouthiness just has her dodge and move on to some other bitchy nonsense>simply tell her that I'm just as capable of popping her in her smart mouth as her boyfriend is, and I'm not fucking that disgusting mouth like he is so I have no reason to hold back>when she flips out about me threatening her, I call her bluff and tell her she can use my phone to call the police and tell them I offered to finish the job her boyfriend started, and we can see who gets questioned and punished in the endif there was ever a woman i wanted to deck it's that one
>>221028213>how dare you mention something illegal in the presence of my previous illegal actions>i'm going to call the police on youmany such cases when it comes to women/subhumans
>>221027977How did you avoid prison? I think it would be satisfying and well deserved to beat up a cheating whore but apparently it will get you in trouble nowadays
>>221027847you feel it because modern society became such a gay shitshow that anyone trying to fuck with it became much more likable than the fags trying to protect it.
>>221027847it's because the heroes are annoying faggots and the villain is written in as a punching bag for some moralizing message.
