It was pretty good!

I thought the furniture looked comfy and want the table that has a smaller, raiseable section.

If I were him I would've just stolen all the furniture to sell in the store.

How long ubtil they make a The Oldest View movie?
>>

I thought it was boring. the first half was a fucking drag. I checked the time twice just to get an idea of how far along the movie was.

a bunch of people in my theater stood up and stormed out immediately as the credits began to roll.

I thought that's what he was doing when he took the stool, but then it never came up again.

Well when the therapist went in the furniture pile was gone.

At least seven years.

After seeing so many cautiously positive but still somewhat critical reactions, i think it actually surpassed my expectations more than it would have if I'd gone in cold. Some of the nitpicks about the scripting and dialogue have some validity but I think people have been making too much out of it. It's a very streamlined and efficiently told story.

Each name is a type of lamp.
Idk if that's a snobbish attempt at cleverness but there you go.
>>
>>221056849
that was to prove to himself that what he was seeing was real but much of that furniture pile was partially merged inside each other

The only good part was when Aerion and his hapa gf explored the Backrooms

I used to make fun of the people that were adamant about there not being a monster, then I found out that someone actually made a high quality Backrooms movie that was nothing but exploration. It was better than the A24 movie because it was all in on the ambience which was the best part of the backroom concept to begin with.

It actually was. Wish they'd have spent more runtime in the uncanny valley though. The shot where it went from a normal-ish room to the "interrogation" room was a clever visualization for memories losing detail or mixing shit up entirely. The exploration was the best part. At the very least the concept can be stretched like Alice in Wonderland- let em make Poolrooms. It wasn't scary horror but it did weird me the fuck out so it was effective in a wholly different sense.

While I did like seeing them in the kitchen scene in more detail, I think it took away from the 'what is that' visceral feeling when you first see them in the Christmas tree room for a brief moment.
Now I want to know what the Still Life looked like in the Found Footage #3 video.

>Be (You) on a regular day
>Waking to the grocery store
>Suddenly stumble
>Noclip into backrooms
>It's full of niggers
A cosmic horror not even Lovecraft could imagine in his worst nightmares.

Most of the bad reviews I’ve seen seem to be from quite young people who expected more jump scares, and people who just don’t get the Interesting but unnerving element to the backrooms

Most interesting part of the movie to me was the early sections and the found footage then the therapist looking around
>>
How long was Clarke in the backrooms to figure out the still life’s and then paint that pirate figure and all the other stuff on the wall?

Also why did he cut off his employees girlfriends head and put it in the fridge?

I think he actually had a story like that but it was full of Turks

I knew immediately after I posted that what the response would be. Just surprised it took 7 hours.

can't believe blacks just want to steal from the backrooms. baka. we need someone strong to set things right and stop these people. let's make sure the backrooms stay what they are instead of becoming blackrooms. after they've stolen all the furniture, they'll probably move in and turn it into a ghetto with drugs and rap music everywhere.
