I think I was smart to wait until episode 6 to start watching the season. The whole show is much more enjoyable as a binge watch as opposed to week to week.

Even still, I almost didn't watch season 4 because Season 3 was legitimately terrible. Seasons 1 sets a great premise, and while Season 2 feels like a side quest now, it has very striking imagery and and an interesting nightmare entity that feels Lovecraftian in nature (although I am sure it will be handwaved as just another nightmare entity).

Season 4 seems to make a very concerted effort to have the characters talk more with each other, which feels nice despite a host of issues still being present.

Season 3 has little to redeem itself. The Henry + Victor reunion was nice, despite going nowhere whatsoever. It may have laid some clues that will be relevant come Season 5. However, the nightmare scenario of "Fatima's baby being a monster" was much less interesting than the generic monsters of season 1, the cicada entity of season 2, and the MIY of season 4.
