Cast him.
Imajica mogs GTs
>>221071116Hasn’t this already been a movie? I swear I saw it when I was growing up in the 90s
>>221071150Where was a 2010 version with Jack Black
>>221071150Okay I’m confirming it was the 1996 Ted Danson movie series haha
>>221071116>Tom Hardy as Gulliver>Aiden Gillen as the Lilliputians
>>221071116ted dansen
>>221071140Those stories have nothing to do with each other
>>221072692okay but they do, in the world of make believe
>>221072714It’s weird that you would mention Imajica, which is also one of my favorite books
>>221071116jack black
>>221071116Make guliver gulivina so we can have giantess kino
>>221072723I don't care faggot, I bet you like Hyperion too you queer.
>>221072762adaptation when?
>>221071116>Cast him.Me. I want to make a river of piss and a hill of shit and straddle a young giant girl's nipple. Could do without the horse-people horseshit thoughbeit.
>>221072907Yahoo spotted
>>221072831He's a good comic artist but the lack of nose is a bit mangaesqe.
>>221071623Nice.
>>221071177Danson is the right level of charismatic.>>221072736Black feels so wrong in historical roles, like only the intervention of modern medicine would let that vile little doughball survive to adulthood. He is a mistake of a post industrial society.
>>221072831pretty much this
>>221072831Uhhhh what does she do when she meets the hunam? Just, you know, curious....
>>221071116man they should've done this with younger jack black. he's probably a little too grey and fat now.
>>221073647Full Disagree: Black's just about at the point where he could do a Tony-Nom Worthy Falstaff to regain all the acting credit he squandered with the decades of value-less kids movies
>>221071116Jack Black
>>221073850The time for him to do that was somewhere around Bernie, which did show promise, by now he's worn schlock into the very grooves of his mind. The reefer also doesn't help.
>>221073934Broadway is all-forgiving and there's always some Shakespeare rehash going on and he just resembles Falstaff so perfectly
>>221072831If i were the village boy there I'd wife her immediately
>>221074194Looks aside, I seriously don't think that Jack Black has a proper Falstaff in him. Lord Falstaff is selfish and cynical, but also humorous and charismatic in certain carefree way. He even makes you raise the "Why am I not just learning from this guy's life philosophy?" questions at some points, even if he loses it all in the end. Meanwhile, Jack Black would misundertood the character and made a complete silly buffoon out of him.
>>221071150>>221071177based and checked, late 90s tv adaptations are gold>>221073850I can't see him as Falstaff, honestly. He's got the energy but lacks the gravitas backing up the mirth the character needs
>>221075685I was going to counter propose Zack Galifinakis for a modern Falstaff, but when I looked him up I guess he got Ozempic'd.
>>221071116a fat lesbian feminist black woman that will lecture the white tiny people and defend the poor oppressed tiny black people from their tyranny
>>221071116If they jacked him off, how long do you think his cum could feed their civilization?
