I've had great success with bartenders and I'm a loser. Gotta be in it to win it.
>>
i went to a restaurant with a beautiful waitress frequently years ago.
I went because it was basically the only place to go. The waitress being beautiful was just a bonus.
Anyway i very deliberately intended to not be a creep and just wanted to enjoy eating there, didn't care about the girl. She was very friendly and charming and i was going through a hard time then.
One day i asked her name and she smiled and gave me her name and i thought nothing of it.
However not long after that shit started to get weird. She started acting like i was creeping on her and i couldnt understand it. It just got awkward from then on. Until i finally decided to just stop going.
So there you go i went to a restaurant and DIDNT do this, same outcome.
>>
It's shameful to admit but I'm a kissless virgin in my mid 30s, I've never asked a girl out for this specific reason. I know normal guys talk about how many rejections you get and you just have to keep trying, but I'm so socially avoidant that the fear of failing and humiliation prevents me from doing anything. As you could gather from being in my mid 30s still posting on 4chan, and being a kissless virgin at that, I've always been a weird and kind of outcast guy. I'm not the kind of guy women want to marry, date, or be seen with. So I could just image the recoiling in disgust any woman (or girl back when I was younger) would do if I asked them out.
>>
Years ago I used to frequent a dollar store and I had a feeling one of the cashiers there was into me and I was into her, we seemed to have chemistry. One day I drove out there, walked up to the counter without purchasing anything and asked if she would like to go on a date with me. She said she wasn't into that kind of thing, I said no worries and left. Haven't been to that dollar store since, wouldn't want to make it weirder.
>>
>>221080331
Around your late 20s, you are supposed to evolve some kind of self awareness and understand that a waitress or a cashier that smiles at you doesn't want you, and that she does it either because it's part of her job, or because she likes the attention. I have no sympathy anymore for manchildren that fail to grasp that basic concept.
>>
>>221082922
Learned this the hard way when I was ~29. I though the girl at the second hand book store like-liked me.
>>
>>221082922
>it's part of her job, or because she likes the attention
Sometimes they are just being nice and sometimes they are being flirtatious for tips. When I worked restaurants, behind the scenes the older waitresses would give the younger waitresses tricks to do to make it seem like they were into the customer when really they weren't, which can be misleading and dishonest but it leads to bigger tips.
>Leaning over the table exposing your cleavage
>As you walk away popping your butt out at the guy
>Running your hand down his arm
>Looking him right in the eye, smiling and leaning in
>Doing a little hop before you leave the table to bounce your tits
>Bat your eyes
>Purse your lips
Can't blame a guy for thinking a girl is into him when that's the vibe she's giving off, but just know that she might be doing it to get more money out of you in that situation and even if she is really into you she might not be into meeting guys at work.
Only one way to find out though.
>>
>>221082113

>>
>>221082922
believe it or not zoomer before the internet public settings were considered appropriate to flirt and ask a girl out.
Nowadays women think no public setting is appropriate to be asked out.
>>
>>221083110
that anon is full of shit and probably a foid. Women have night and day difference in behaviour if they like you or dont like you.

zero. The only chance you have is so drinks after work and shes horny and fucks you in the kitchen

>>221083195
Or if they're pretending to like you, as Shakira says the hips don't lie. Though I will reiterate, even if they do have chemistry with you they might still reject you for whatever other reason they have in their head. Maybe they only date asian guys, have a hectic life they don't want you to be a part of, an abusive ex who stalks her boyfriends, an overbearing dad who scares everyone away, a shameful dark secret, etc. Even when a girl is rejecting you it doesn't always mean she isn't into you, but you have to respect the rejection and move on with your life IMO which is when this sometimes happens:
>>221081454
>then i ignored her completely and she was angry
My theory as to why this happens is because in the movies, a guy will fight for her and never give up, keep trying forever and ever until she finally says yes. In real life that makes you a stalker and good guys don't really do that, but most women have to learn that the hard way. Unfortunately, sometimes they learn it the really hard way when they date a guy who is into anal and won't take no for an answer.
>>
>>221083181
>don't ask out your waitress/barista/cashier. they are nice to everyone they don't actually like you
>oh so now it's ILLEGAL to ask women out in public?
>>
>>221083302
it literally is, women just decided unanimously that public places shouldn't have men in them
>>
>>221083289
women will reject a guy then 10,15,20 years down the line by chance bump into the guy and want to date him. At that point its just a slap in the face and the highest insult, since they spent how many years without you but NOW they want it.
If people think thats far fetched its happened to me more times than i can count. Im convinced that many women think this is romantic from watching and reading retard romance novels
>today i bumped into that cute guy from a long time ago, feeling cute might flirt with him
>>
>>221083360
I know, I know, I'm a literal autistic cuck, but why not give her a chance? Maybe she's grown as a person, you're single, she's single. Plenty of girls who wouldn't date me in high school became interested in me later, and some who were interested in me in high school aren't now. Don't hold a grudge, I've been in the opposite situation where a girl was into me in high school but I rejected her for my own reasons, realized I was being a silly stupid years later and would totally want to date her now.
>>
>>221080331
She'd fuck me for being awesome and handsome
>>
>>221083393
a woman who would only date you after her looks have faded isn't a good woman and deserves the loneliness she imposed on herself and others.
>>
>>221083322
>oh so now it's ILLEGAL for a man to be in public?
>>
>>221083414
>after her looks have faded
Trust me, most women aren't concerned about that. People make mistakes as teenagers, they thought they wanted one thing but it turns out they wanted something else. Are you telling me you were a fully formed person and haven't changed any of your perspectives since you were a teenager? It's the same for women, some of them look back on those guys they dated in high school or college and think wow that was fucking stupid.
I mean, unless she really is just looking to bag a beta bucks, which is a red flag and I get what you're saying in that case.
>>
>>221083481
i'll tell you a short story. When i was in highschool i had a female friend that was kinda cute and sexy but a bit chubby.
I asked her if she wanted to fuck, she turned me down in the nicest way, whatever.

years later. I met her again in public. She was now a fat disgusting landwhale.
Now at that time she wanted to fuck. There was no way it was going to happen she would physically crush me for starters.
>>
>>221083523
Oh well party on then, I guess. If it was purely a physical thing I get where you're coming from. She rejected you when she was hot and thought you were not, you rejected her when you were hot and though she was not. I was thinking more along the lines of getting married eventually.
>>
>>221080331
I have a golden rule
Never date anyone in a cafe you like, cause when it goes wrong (I would get the date) you can't keep going back. guy is a fucking retard. the poor guirl is being nice cause its her job.
>>
>>221080331
My previous ex worked the counter in a campus cafe when I went my last year at the uni. I started going there several times a week after I saw her to get a chance to strike a conversation but couldn't do it.
Thankfully that place transformed into an afterwork type of bar every Thursday (and a shitty night club every Friday). Saw her smoking a cig outside with her coworkers one time on a Thursday night and approached their group. Wasn't flirty at all and she didn't seem that interested so I didn't push it too much. As it turned out, another girl I knew from before also worked at the place, and she apparently told my crush how to find me on social media. So a few days later she adds me on facebook, we talk a bit and decide to meet. During our brief date I fall hard for her but we go separate ways that evening. Until about an hour later we start sending dumb memes to each other on messenger. At that point I eventually ask what would she do if I turned up at her doorstep with a bottle of wine, to which she tells that she wouldn't let me freeze outside.

After 8 months of dating and her being madly in love with me I eventually dump her because she was way too young, insecure and depressed for it to work. Be careful what you wish for.

Clarify that I'm actually gay and was looking to hang out because she seemed cool while secretly using it as a way to get closer to her and avoid the initial embarrassment. I'd become her gay bestie after a few months of hanging out. We'd move in together. Watch movies and trashy Bravo shows on the couch in our underwear. She'd model clothes for me as she's picking out her outfits. We'd make breakfast on the weekends. Order taleout. Decorate for the holidays. Pick out a Christmas tree while laughing about how we would make the perfect Hallmark movie couple if I wasn't gay. And then in the middle of the tree lot I'd confess my undying love for her just like in those trash movies. She'd recoil. Ask if I was serious. Tell me she can't she me that way. Wonder if I was faking all along. I'd move out after the holidays. We wouldn't speak again.
>>
>>221083667

She felt more like a teenage daughter going through her emo phase to me than an actual partner, which is not strange at all seeing how I was 27 and she was 19. In the last 2 or so months of our relationship I was constantly emotionally drained because no matter what I did she felt like shit, spent her days in bed either stress eating or starving herself, and constantly talking about "not knowing where she has me because I'm so distant" even though we were fucking living together in my apartment at that point.
