At this point, I think something that is LIKE Star Wars but is NOT Star Wars has a better chance of being popular than Star Wars itself does.If Hollywood was smart, they'd be plundering the fantasy/sci-fi section to try to find their next Game of Thrones or Star Wars, some sort of power fantasy hero's journey shit. There is plenty to choose from and I'm sure, if properly adapted to TV and film (LOL sorry), some of them could be popular.
