Now, I'm not saying the show is 100% realistic or always hit the tone, but it's sure as shit orders of magnitude closer than anything else on TV which is why it's pointed out as an anomaly of a show. I'm iffy on Marlo. I think he was directed badly. He did seem lobotomized and was leaning too far into the "dead eyed psychopath" thing.But he also pulled off some awesome scenes and lines. But he was also given some dumb-ass shit to say, peaking with "my name is my name!"But his journey to learn about money laundering was pretty good except it was too long.
