Richard Jenkins in dear John is pretty good, it’s not the biggest thing in that movie but he nailed how anxious autists can be before unpredictable events that upset their routine, repetitive mannerisms, explaining his autist hobby in a passionate way to people we know probably couldn’t care less. A lot of that movie (being a chick flick) doesn’t interest me but he really stood out for his performance. Dustin Hoffman too for obvious reasons.
