I've now seen all of Forest so what was that nonsense about cucking again? There's none of that. FL is with the ML all throughout the show and he tries to push her away. There are no other guys and when they break up briefly at the end, it's pretty understandable. He lied to her the whole time about who he was and she almost immediately forgives him. He then proceeds to confess that all that he's doing is not for altruistic reasons, but for personal revenge and she's fine with it.

Plot wise though the villains end game was absolute nonsense, but comically funny at least. I don't know how he expected to get away with it, but oh well. It was a pretty decent watch overall.
