This movie perfectly captures the sheer existential dread of overstimulated millenials and zoomers being left alone with nothing but their own thoughts for 5 minutes.
>liminal spacing LE BADERINOseriously what is up with zoomies and this with the color yellow?
What running a furniture store does to you
My friend fell asleep next to me in the theater
>>221140884This needs to be a movie.
>>221140884Remind me what the existential dread of having infinite money and an easy job in Fight Club, Office Space and a million other movies was?
>>221140884Is that quote from the 4chan post word for word?
Is there a Pirate Clarke wojak yet

>>221141261Did you suck his dick in that true story
>>221141559Those aren't horror and they're critiques of pretty much the same facets of society American Psycho was. Meanwhile you literally shit yourself in fear at the sight of an empty room without a tiktok feed to comfort you.
>>221142247Yeah
>>221140884>Expected some kino backrooms exploration>Ended up as a trauma dump drama bullshitFuck this hack. In the end, he's just became yet another pretentious hollywood director.
>>221141127pic is precisely that I had in mind when I watched that scene
>>221142512the toby fox of movies
>>221142512The backrooms concept is good for a 15 minute youtube short but wandering hallways and running from big blurry stickmen for an entire feature length moviefilm was going to get stale. It needed an extra layer to make it compelling. I'm not sure if le trauma was the right move but it was interesting that the concept was flipped from being trapped and unable to leave into willingness to stay.
>>221140884This movie perfectly captures the sheer existential dread of overstimulated boomers and gen x being left alone with nothing but their own thoughts for 5 minutes.
>>221140884More like the existential dread of noclipping around empty source maps
>>221140884Also the sheer horror of therapy with an overeducated woman
He should have done Oldest View instead

>>221140884>ITT: millennials morphing into boomers, endlessly complaining about "kids these days"
>>221142512That's all zoomer stories in a nutshell. Pseudo intellectual metaphor for trauma, mental health drama. And since everyone since covid made this shit their whole personality to fit in they all eat it up
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-H59GkA-I4>cryptic video from three years beforehand revealed the movie's revelation before the movie even started developmenthe really had this planned out
Backrooms always seem comfy to me, reminds me of when I was little and went exploring in a hotel my grandparents were staying at after their house burnt down. It was being renovated so a lot of the rooms looked like that.It makes me wonder: did boomers look at Blair Witch and feel something similar? Did they reminisce about all the camping trips they did as kids, and find the whole environment comforting? Is generational horror a thing?
>>221140884>MILLENNIALS AND ZOOMERSZoomers. You mean Zoomers.
>>221140884>Having to think their own thoughts is a horror show for zooms
>>221144785Zoomers and millenial complain more about boomers than the other way around
>>221145291Nobody complaining about zoomers on this website is a boomer.
>>221140901Liminal is the most retarded, pretendious and negroid zoomer word.
>>221140884>if your not careful>noclip out if realityThe fuck? Were these mistakes intended? There are no other mistakes
>>221144905you'd think a zoomflick will just be constant sensory stimuli with endless jumpscares and reddit humour
>>221140884I'm glad the backrooms popularity is over nowEvery time the movie of X game gets made its like the sign a franchise has peaked.Same with FNAF
>>221141512>it's realomg. why would someone make a real version of this, the pasta was lame enough as is.
>>221140884>zoomers being left alone with nothing but their own thoughts for 5 minutesUnfathomable amounts of projection going on here, bud.
>>221140884>nothing but their own thoughts for 5 minutes.I really dislike that and do everything to distract myself otherwise I go into a spiral
I hate the idea of still lifes in the backrooms
