At this point I don't think there is anything preventing thousands of spin-offs with alternate timelines and reincarnation slop with no answers being given about anything, just something new added to the plot every once in a while, like a carrot on a stick going on and on.I mean, they only spoke about the virus on walking dead in some spin-off series, another show that goes on and on aimlessly, on life support like a mexican soap opera, but soap operas have an ending and explanations, so it manages to be worse than a soap opera.

I wish we didn't know there was a season 5. Because the entire "this place throws so many lies at you, you can't even discern the ones that might be true" angle goes out the window on MIY threatening Tabitha. Like if we didn't know a season 5 was coming then we could imagine maybe MIY is trying to scare her because that is the true solution and he wants her to turn on Jade and cause strife in the town.
