30+ anons, you still tight with your old buddies?
>>221168421I haven’t had a friend in a decade
Is this a gay movie for poopdick having homo type folks?
>>221168522You could interpret it that way if you wanted to. I thought it was a thoughtful mediation on friendship, maturity, the modern world.
>>221168434Same. I can barely remember how to talk to people in real life.
Hard if you dont have money or hobbies. Everyone is slowly becoming a dullard.
>>221168421I liked this movie so much I saw it twice
>>221168421A couple maybe. Its tough. All of my childhood/teenage friends became too different and we fell off, I really envy people who can trace friendships back to grade school. Probably makes your life feel a lot more connected, I feel like I might as well have been reincarnated at age 22 because I have no social connections from before then, family aside
>>221168421This film makes me grateful that I cut off most my friendships because they had this weird quiet dysfunction like the one in this film.
>>221168421I have a tight group of friends I went to highschool with, we also went to colleges in the same city, only a few people fell out and now everyone is getting married but we still go to each other's bachelor's parties and meet up for UFC fights and shit. Video games, shooting and beach trips are mostly how we hangout now.
Yes, our group chat has dwindled down to five due to marriages, asinine fighting and women issues over the past 20 years, but those of us who remain are still super close. We meet up a few times every year and mostly reminisce about the good old days.
If you were tight with a group of three other guy briefly but now they’re all ghosting you, is it most likely because of a collective shared opinion of you?
>>221169302You were probably the weak link or they wanted the same thing that you didn't want, like a wife and kids maybe.
>>221169323That 1000% describes me, but it doesn’t explain why they can’t fucking reply when I ask hey what’s up I really liked our friendship and am wondering how you are doing and if anything is wrong.
I miss my best friend. He ghosted me, then wrote a long story about how he doesn't know what happened so we hung out a few times and then ghosted me again. Other friends say he's super flaky and tough to get a hold of. Obviously going through some shit but can't man up and ask for help. I don't know. I'm moving and hopefully will get some new friends.
>>221168421yes acutallyGot several friends in germany ( we play tabletop rpgs together over the internet) and my remaining close irl friends from HS recently got together again, we been doing meetups, trips.t. austrian
>>221169302I had a friend like that he was an OK dude but he dropped out of college and started working at a deli or something and was always broke. The rest of us had more professional jobs and we eventually just dropped him overtime.
>>221169348They probably inhabit the world of group chats, weekend plans, carpooling, job ennui. Snobs that act like they made it but they aren't better off than anyone else in reality.
>>221168421I logged in as invisible everywhere and never answered the phone so now I haven't talked to anyone in 5 years
My friends are giga vaccinated and they all have chest problems now despite being healthier than me
>>221168434You’re better off. My friends are planning a master betrayal.
>>221168421I have no interest in having male friends. I literally only enjoy hanging out with my girlfriend
>>221168421Yeah, we were a tight knit group since the first grade, but I only got one left now. The other two died and we're not even 40 yet.The emptiness is hard to bear.
