If Mando actually died near the end, then the film would be put into the list of "good modern content from star wars" by far. The whole decision to keep the character removes some of the backbone.
>>221173293nobody cared about the ending to a re-tooled season of a TV series that had lost all credence by becoming a vehicle for blatant celebrity cameos. sorry bud, but it wouldn't have changed shit.
>>221173293Does the status quo not at all change by the end of the movie?
>>221173393lol no. and even if it did, would it?Can you really not see Mando 2 advertising showing a previously 'dead' character in a bacta tank? after "omgz we're the 'resistance' fighting the first order just like we wuz rebels before"? after darth maul?
>>221173393No.
>>221173434>Gluk Sukko will return in Mandolorian and Grogu 2, reports of his death were greatly exaggerated>(Gluk Sukko was literally blown into shreds of meat on-screen)
They absolutely fucked everything up with season 3. There was literally nothing the movie could have been about considering how everything was wrapped up. Season 3 should have been about Mando going around the galaxy finding and uniting the scattered Mandalorian clans with the goal of retaking Mandalore. Build up to this epic moment where the Mandalorians are all united under one banner, have a fleet and head towards Mandalore to retake. Season 3 ends there. Movie is then about Mando leading the Mandalorians against Empire remnants in epic battle of Mandalore. Have Luke show up with his Jedi order and Grogu to help. Some tension with Mandalorians trusting Luke since this is the first time theyve seen a Jedi in decades. Heartfelt reunion with Grogu and Mando. See Luke kicking ass alongside Mandalorians. Mando becomes Mandalore after they win battle. All of this would have hyped the audiences up and had this looking forward to seeing something. No idea what the fuck Disney was smoking when they did season 3. The entire first 2 seasons were undone for no fucking reason.
>>221173293look at that lil baby yeed.
>>221173293lmao you’re insane if you ever believed there was even a remote chance that Disney was going to kill off the Mandalorian in the first Mandalorian movie.
>>221173735You watched 2 seasons about an autistic hitman and then got confused when he didn't become a politician-warlord
>if this trash movie just had this one thing.. it would be the best ever!!! no it would still be shit and youre a pleb
I felt so happy for the dragonsnake at the end, it got such a nice meal from those 2 large hutts. He must've been so happy.
I liked it, I can pretend S3 never happened and just enjoy a nice story arc that would be right at home in one of the first 2 seasons. I don't really care about Mandalore epic politics stuff or any of the stuff tying it into the clone wars or other series, it worked better as just a western in space with a dude going around solving problems. I kinda wish it was just a separate timeline entirely (though I guess the S2 finale with Luke was neat).
>>221173293All this movie proved was that Every episode should be 1 hour long.
