It’s hard to explain why they do really stupid things like the don’t get drunk on this spooky island or you’ll die and they do it and yeah They were really quite stupid. Most of the time he’s generally just lucky or in the right place or his ideas are stupid but his enemies are really stupid Like the Trojan horse It was a stupid idea but by their standards it was brilliant and the other people just accepted it weren’t stupid but average People 2000 years ago weren’t…. Smart it would be pointless to teach 1/3 of them to read, they just couldn’t. But out of 2 to 20 million who was Roman you’d have 1 out 100,000 who was smart even by our current standards.
