Quickmd (if available in your state) will give you at least 14 8/2 strips which should be enough to quit and then switch back to plain leaf or just completely quit. At the very least this can help you lower your tolerance. Once I got around a gram tapering pretty much became impossible. I've now quit using Suboxone several times. I keep going back and the high keeps getting more and more negligible. Honeymoon is been over and there's no going back. Anyway good luck. Aside from that I think people who start drinking young or who grew up around "happy" drinkers associate drinking with happy, good times so you drink to chase that feeling again. I get it often enough when drinking that it keeps me going. Most of the time these days though the buzz is either meh or decent but I don't get that "warm hug" the other guy described like I used to in my late teens.
