Can't wait to pay $4000 to sit next to really smelly old people in drag. Also why is x so gay about AI?
>>
>>221188694
I can't imagine this will be very successful. The Wizard of Oz worked for The Sphere because it is one of the most popular and successful films of all time. You can't replicate that success with a cult film. It's very popular with it's niche fandom, but it is still niche

Is The Room next?

Christ, imagine the size of Sarandon's tits
>>

Terminally online who hang around on social media too much tend to be creative types, so AI threatens their jobs, especially if they are the type to rely on commissions.

>>221189783
While you're not necessarily wrong about Oz having a huge boost because of its inherent popularity, keep in mind that this is in Vegas. You've got people shelling out to go to drag and burlesque shows all the time, and there were nightly shows of Evil Dead The Musical and other niche/campy stuff. I think it'll do fine; definitely won't be as popular as Oz, but it'll justify the cost and hold them until whatever movie they do next.
>>
can anyone explain the appeal of drag? i seriously don't get it. it's fucking weird.

Yeah, but are they spending around $150 for the cheapest tickets to those things? You could be right, but I have a hard time believing there are enough die hard Rocky Horror fans visiting Vegas on a nightly basis for this to be that successful. I think movies at The Sphere need to have the visual spectacle to justify the experience and have enough mass appeal to attract normie tourists. If I were in charge of programming at The Sphere, I'd be doing everything I can to get the rights to something like Jaws.

this is that one other dome thing and not the sphere, right? that looks pretty fucking stupid with the frame like that instead of just filling the dome.

this seems fuckin cool but the tickets seem way too high. i know the tech is expensive but if it's the same price as a ticket for going to the actual fucking event then you can fuck off.

Its the prevailing attitude of the boomer generation.
Just like Millennials are avocado eating, onions drinking betas and Zoomers are broccoli-head retards.
>>
>>221190126
You are really underestimating how popular Rocky Horror is. That shit sells the fuck out basically anywhere. I live in shitty ass redneck Tennessee and our theater has a showing every Halloween, and it fills completely up, not a seat left in the house. Let alone someplace like Vegas. That shit is gonna print money.
>>
>>221190425
10,000 to 20,000 of them? This isn't an occassional late night screening at a theatre. This is almost daily with the capacity of a stadium.
>>
>>221189945
This anon fully grasps the implications of this new technology.
I used to have to pause the VHS tape when she had her tits out but Tim Curry wasn't in frame to whack off.
Also I uses to mute the volume during Tje Nanny and goon to Fran Fine.
>>
>>221190517
It's classic Americana at this point
>>
>>221190517
the sphere has a capacity of 20k. i am leaning on your side that it would probably be able to sell out but i wouldn't say doubters are completely wrong.

this is bad why exactly

>I live in shitty ass redneck Tennessee and our theater has a showing every Halloween, and it fills completely up, not a seat left in the house.
I have no doubt it still has the popularity for something like that. Like I said here >>221190523 , it's not comparable to The Sphere. We're in the middle of June and The Wizard of Oz has nearly 500 shows from now until the end of the year.
