Are the Narnia movies worth watching?
I remember liking the books when I was a kid
>>
>>221190011
Yes, but.
>>
>>221190035
But what?
>>
>>221190051
They're merely alright. Don't expect too much.
>>
>>221190087
unfortunate
>>
>>221190011
First one is pretty good
Haven’t watched the others
>>
Did they stop making the movies?
>>
>>221190011
The first movie is as good as anyone should expect from the source material. You get a amazing Tilda Swinton performance, good Aslan and a really super mega attractive girl no I am not being a pedo just recognizing when a girl is pretty. There is a famous scene in this that holds up. The other movie just felt way less inspired, they sorta tried some Mediterranean vibe like the kids went to Spain or Greece on holiday. Then people just got bored.

One of the two directors of Shrek 1

You’d better be talking about Susan I swear to god anon.

Yes but,
>>
I just finished the first movie and it was pretty comfy. I'll save the next one for tomorrow though.

I watched the first two, but haven't got around to the third. I see eyebrows plays Eustace.
First two movies are good, and Anna Popplewell is a goddess.

He meant to pluralize.
>>
>>221190843
That's good to hear, I see the 3rd movie has a different director so it's kind of worrisome
>>

certified kino.

The three movies they made all involve the Pevensies. Eustace Scrubb gets introduced in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and he and a new girl (Jill Pole) are the stars of the last two books, so I guess they didn't want to explore that.
The other two books (The Magician's Nephew, A Horse and His Boy) involve The Professor & Polly Plummer and a side story set in the time of late part of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe where they're all adults. They're more worldbuilding. The former introduces the creation of Narnia and the introduction of Jadis, and the latter has background on stuff like Tash and geography to set up The Last Battle.
>>
How did humans populate Narnia when there were only 4 brothers and sisters?
>>

they had sex
