fucking idiotall he had to do was chill out for a bit and he could have got away
>>221191091The problem is that by nature The Thing's objective is to simply assimilate as much as it can to propagate itself. From my POV it can't just sit around and wait, it has to constantly be moving forward as it has no choice otherwise, as you said, it could have just chilled but if there are other living organisms near it then it can't and is compelled to take them over which is its only weakness as it can't help itself and why it risks almost constant exposure by sperging out!!!FACT!!!
>>221191091>From my POVFound the Thing.
>>221191091Clark kept touching his butt hole and he knew if he didn't make a move things were going to get out of hand really quickly

>>221191241>is to simply assimilate as much as it can to propagate itself.yet it was smart enough and had enough of a concept of logic to build a space ship.
>>221191091So you’re saying the script worked?
>>221191241You dorks are always making up headcanon shit. There's no evidence that it wants to spread or propogate as much as you claim. That's literally only a theory made by scared people trying to figure out what's happening. The Thing was already shown multiple times to not assimilate any and everyone even when it has the chance. It doesn't get Clark nor MacReady. There is just as much evidence suggesting the Thing simply wanted to get safe from hostile people trying to kill it. And the smaller amounts of Thing have less intelligence than the fully formed human or larger Things. DogThing was still instinctual, while BlairThing could make aircraft and strategize a way to sneak up on everyone
>>221192860ya? maybe ur the thing
