A virtuous life requires cultivation from one or two vocations (something you spend most of your time in, like woodcrafting, metal working, building stuff...) and two or three hobbies (something that requires less time and physical effort, like writing, drawing, painting...), so you keep learning, pondering, and having a trade (or multiple trades) to pass on an appretince and discuss with your peers. Problem is, the moment any of these get turned into actual work, into your mean for a living, they lose all that virtue; you are not really cultivating yourself, just subsisting, and in the end, that spark you felt with your craft and your arts is lost.Man wasn't made for working.
