>Terminator 1>The Terminator is damaged and wears a pair of sunglasses to hide his inhumanity>Terminator 2>The Terminator decides to wear sunglasses at night to look "cool"This is why T1 > T2
>>221211144T1 > T2 because T2 reduced a genuinely compelling horror antagonist to the wacky sidekick of a literal child. It's arguably the worst film of the franchise.
>>221211190>It's arguablyYou can argue anything, but you'd still be wrong.
>>221211144actually the soundtrack is why the first one is betterand the fact that it's a crazy sci-fi horror pseudo-cyberpunk movie with flashes of a post-apocalyptic future and a plot that is purposefully a closed time loop paradox with no beginningevery bad thing that happened due to cocaine was worth it because it also made james cameron make the terminatorhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBUW5Msg5J4
>>221211144manhunter > silence of the lambsdeathwish > deathwish 2terminator > terminator 2highlander 2 > highlander
the tech-noir scene is pure kinohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3hGMgd2X14
So people in the future have laser guns but they don't have magnets? All you need is a wall of those breaking bad magnets with reversed polarity and then there would be ZERO hunter killer terminators around because they would all be pushed into the sea and the seawater would rust them up pretty badly. These films make no sense when you really think about it.
>>221211144>killer robot wears sunglasses to look coolThere is literally (ˈli-tə-rə-lē) nothing wrong with this.
>>221211144>>221211190Take a hike, bozo
>>221211190Calm down
>>221211144He was programmed to "fit in". Obviously young John had to make some minor adjustments.
>>221212226the terminators are made of a rust proof alloy
>>221212558a non-ferrous alloy?
>>221212581How did the terminators communicate? Wirelessly? Can't you block that shit? It's not like radio interference is rocket surgery.
>>221212581why not? something like Ti-4Al-7Mo-3Cr-3V
>>221211144>You were sent back to protect me?>So you have to do everything I say, huh?>Are you...'anatomically' accurate?
>>221212952They were pre-programmed, right? So they cant be hacked.
>>221212980Too expensive. Skynet's tax policies and lack of human workforce meant they would never have enough room in the budget for metastable beta-titanium alloys.
>>221211144Why do you insist on making the same threads over and over again?
>>221211190>It's arguably the worst film of the franchise. This retard is in for a rude awakening when he finds out there are 4 more sequels after that.
>>221211144it's also not the same terminator
>>221213482>>221212243Yeah u right. Connor programmed it to acquire sunglasses. For reasons
>>221211190>the wacky sidekick of a literal childWhile this is true of all version, there is much more of that wacky sidekick stuff in Special Edition. The theatrical should be everyone's first experience of Terminator 2, but I think the SE has become the standard version nowadays. The same thing happened to Aliens, which is also better in its theatrical cut.
>>221211190>genisys>dark fate>better than T2I bet you liked the last jedi aswell goyT2 was amazing if you didn't know the twist beforehand. Even without the twist it's one of the gratest action movies every made.
>>221211144Reminder; John was the one that reprogrammed him and he remembered him with the shades.
>>221213560What's the difference? More extra kid scenes or what? I haven't seen T2 since it first came out on DVD in the late 90s.
>>221213560Special Editions are always the worse version the movie and should be seen as curiosities a best
>>221214031>always the worse versionLord of the Rings would like a word.
>>221211144Chill out, dickwad.
>>221214310the only special edition of the lotr trilogy that improves the film is two towersfellowship theatrical was already perfect, and the extended edition of rotk makes a bloated film even more bloated
>>221211190/thread. It's that simple.
>>221214424t2 is a better movie and that's a fact and everyone agrees except some little incel assburgler faggots
>>221211190
>>221213735Off the top of my head the extra scenes in the director's cut were>resetting the chip in the garage after the hospital>teaching the T-800 to smile>Sarah's dream with KyleCan't remember what else there was.
>>221214672Huh I guess I've never seen the directors cut then, I don't recall seeing any of that. And something really tacky like a dream about Kyle would've stood out since that stuff is so cringe in movies.
T2 was incredible and made the desert feel comfy. Mini guns, grenade launchers, amazing villain its just amazing.T1 has awful claymation at like 20 fps and ruins it. Every kid wanted to be John conner and hack an ATM. Sarah conner is a tough as nails bitch trapped in a psych ward being raped and when she breaks his nose its fucking lit.Drano in a syringe? Fuck yeah. T2 >T1
The terminators using a motorcycle for transportation, if he hits a deer that ran across the the road he might get an antler in the eye. Sunglasses make sense.
>>221214310>>221214401Only tolerable extended edition was FOTR, the other two already suffered from the editors inability to restrain the worst instincts of Jackson and the extended editions made it worse. More slapstick and bad comedy with Gimli or Merry and Pippin. More dumb CGI filled battle scenes. They definitely made the movies worse.
