Fat jews?

Ya. Find a record store youll find them
>>
Yeah they're just all in IT now and make their personality based on computer shit.
>>
>>221216623
Record store? What's that?
>>
>>221216456
No, because record stores are gone. I used to be one of these guys, they laid us all off in 06.
>>
>>221216669
A place where Xboomer buy music with their zoomie kids.
>>
>>221216456
have you ever been on /mu/ ? they're at it every day
>>
>>221216669
In the before-fore times, music used to be on big wax disks called 'Records'. They used to carve then out of big wax blocks using their primitive stone age tools.

[Stalin and Trotsky at the funeral of Lenin, colorized, c. 1924]
>>

They literally only post about kpop

Most of those guys retired, living on paycheck or died of cirrhosis. A few survived, now old wizards handling the last shops of that kind. A new batch of guys like that emerge every generation though, it is the role of the clerk that is fading away.

If you're broke, lazy and geuninely not interested in an actual career (business, army, academia), you get your kicks by having a supreme amount of cultural knowledge. Collecting records can be expensive, but hanging around in the record store is free. Same for comic book guys.

Retail still has some dunning kruger midwits. Though I guess Jack black’s character turns out to be a decent front man so maybe he’s not a great example
>>
>>221216456
>do autistic music nerds still exist
yes, go to any record shop. you will find guys and girls in their autumn years willing to work for shit pay just so they can talk to people about music and play albums they like over the store's PA
>>
>>221216456
No because poptimism is mainstream and nobody gives a shit about rock
All those vinyl shops just sell taylor swift vinyls lol
>>
Fent killed a lot of the midwits at the guitar center and the local hobby shop
>>
>>221216456
hipsters are always around. but yes, you can go to a record store or a dive bar in a college town and find them
>>
>>221216758
That am not funny me am not caveman
>>
>>221216456
Sure, but they do it for free on the Internet now.
>>
>>221218932
Never even thought about that, but yeeah. RIP
>>
>>221216456
did any of these motherfuckers play an instrument, or were they just critique cucks.
>>
>>221219201
Jack Black's character is very explicitly in a band that plays a gig near the end of the movie
>he's just the singer
being a good singer is still a skill that requires technique and practice
>>
>>221216456
Plenty of em in the IDF bombing Christian holy sites in Lebanon.
>>
>>221219201
>>221220279
It's like a subplot in the movie. No one believe he would be able to pull it off, but then he is great in the final show.
>>
>>221216758
>In the before-fore times
the US had its largest vinyl sales for the first time in many years recently.
zoomers and alpha kids are getting into the retro shit because of artists like taylor swift pushing vinyl
>>
>>221216456
Yes. On this very board.
>>
>>221219201
Do you make movies?
>>
>>221220279
>being a good singer is still a skill that requires technique and practice
Lmfao I bet you are one of those faggots that pretends the voice is a musical instrument too.
>>
>>221216456
Yes but for rap and Fantanocore shit.
>>
>>221216456
this movie makes me sad because all the locations it was shot in got raped by gentrification, and they go online to whine about other neighborhoods getting gentrified
>>
>>221220904
>buy my $200 box set goy
>>
>>221221042
