It's Scottish so the accent might be a bit of a hurdle but Still Game is fantastic. I would stick to the original seasons, when the show goes HD everything becomes worse imo.The entire series is on youtube.

Father ted is really really bad.I thought it was amazing in the 90s but i watched it again recently and it doesn't hold up.There's like 3 jokes-old man swears-doogle is stupid-cheap shot at catholicismAnd they repeat them over and over and over. It gets really dull after about 1 or 2 episodes.Watch Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. And make sure you get a copy with the commentary, because when you rewatch it with the commentary it's actually funnier because they do it in character.

Fawlty Towers is comfy, not hilarious and it leans too much into the "damn i hate my wife, but i lay flat for her in every way" boomer angle, but it's comfy
