His development makes sense. He was a criminal before, but small time. When Walt entered the picture he started getting the shit kicked out of him and witnessing murders regularly. He was forced to grow up real fucking fast. He is too perfect by the end though. That's the problem withh BB and BCS. Once character gets popular, they felate the fuck out of them.
