Holy shit you guys were right. Its kino.I wasnt planning to watch all of it, but it sucked me in. Anderson is such a good foil for dredd (or maybe the other way around?), and the pacing is just spot on, no boring bits, but its not exhausting either. Especially like how both of the main villians actually got a bit of comeuppance before they died, felt so good. Usually I feel like 80% of movies dont know how to do a good fall at its the worst blueballs ever when someone deserves something and they just get a quick fucking death. the sci-fi and gritty tactical stuff is fun too.Totally unimportant technical gripe though. Judge armor despite being bulky as hell, Doesnt protect against diddly. not even what looks like the 9mm submachine gun Anderson picked up. Freaking modern body armor can hold up to that stuff, nevermind near mythical one man court houses. Would have been cool seeing bullets ricochet off of those walking tanks and either the special armor piercing judge bullet or a shoot that hits a gaps being needed to do the deed. But again, thats unimportant.
getting to see those quick naked shots of that girl were hot as fuck. sad they involved a diversity person and it's really the only drawback of the movie
